Privacy Policy
Melenyn, Inc. ("Melenyn", "we", "us") operates melenyn.com, a website describing our upcoming accounts receivable automation product. This policy explains what we collect through this website, how we use it, and how to reach us. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.
The Melenyn product itself has not launched. This policy covers only this marketing website and email you exchange with us. When the product launches, it will have its own privacy documentation.
What we collect
We deliberately collect very little:
- Anonymous site analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly measurement tool. It uses no cookies, sets no identifiers on your device, does no fingerprinting, and does not track you across other sites. It gives us aggregate information such as page views, referrers, country-level location, and browser type. We cannot identify you from it, and we do not try to.
- Email correspondence. If you email us, for example to request early access at [email protected], we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write to us, such as details about your company or your AR setup.
This site sets no cookies of its own, has no signup forms, no account system, and no advertising or social media trackers.
How we use it
- Analytics data helps us understand, in aggregate, which pages people read and where visitors come from, so we can improve the site.
- Email you send us is used to reply to you, to manage the early access list if you asked to join it, and to keep you informed about Melenyn if you asked us to. You can ask us to stop emailing you at any time, and we will.
We do not use your information for automated decision making, profiling, or advertising.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data. We never have, and we have no plans to.
- We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing.
- We do not buy data about you to append to what you send us.
The only third parties that touch website data are the service providers we need to operate: Cloudflare for hosting and the analytics described above, Google Fonts to serve the site's typefaces, and our email provider to receive and send mail. Each acts on our instructions to provide their service.
How long we keep it
Analytics data is aggregate and anonymous, so there is nothing about you to retain. Email correspondence is kept for as long as we have an ongoing conversation or you remain interested in early access. If you ask us to delete your correspondence, we will delete it within 30 days unless we are legally required to keep it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict how we use it. Since the only personal data we hold is email you chose to send us, exercising these rights is simple: email us and tell us what you want. We will respond within 30 days.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and access to our email is limited and protected. No system is perfectly secure, so we keep the amount of data we hold as small as possible, which is the most reliable safeguard there is.
Children
This site is intended for a business audience and not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so plainly on this page.
